Wallpaper Guide
Pattern Repeat
Pattern repeat is the vertical distance before the pattern repeats. Larger repeats mean more waste. Straight match patterns waste less than drop match.
Roll Sizes
US standard is 20.5" wide × 16.5 ft (single roll) or 33 ft (double roll). European rolls are often 27" wide. Always buy by square footage, not number of rolls.
Waste Factor
Expect 10-25% waste depending on pattern repeat and room complexity. Our calculator includes appropriate waste based on your pattern repeat.
Buying Tips
Always order all rolls at once from the same dye lot. Keep one extra roll for future repairs as discontinued patterns can't be matched later.
